Fire and Gas EngineerJob Location : QatarRequirements :?10 years of experience in the field of Fire & Gas projects or engineering in a consultancy/OPERATING PLANT (Petrochemical/Oil & gas/Fertiliser) with at least 5 years in the DESIGN field of Petrochemical/Oil & gas projects.?Team leadership responsibilities and exposure to Project management?Relevant QCDD, NFPA, ISA and IEC codes and standards.?Proficiency in English language?Qualification - Bachelor?s Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering (full time course).In depth knowledge/skills in :?Various types of fire and gas detection systems used in Process industries (Oil &Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical etc.) inside plant process area and buildings.?The selection of appropriate Fire & Gas detectors and suitable technology based on application.?Knowledge of different type of Analyzer?s technology and associated subsystems and their applications.?the selection and design of F&G systems for Process Plants and its interfacing with HVAC, Access Control, PAGA, Siren system and Fire & Gas PLC.?the selection and design of F&G systems for Buildings, Warehouses, Storage areas etc. and its interfacing with HVAC, Access Control, PAGA etc.?the design of F&G Sample handling systems?Environmental Regulations and Standards?F&G mapping studies, layout preparation and system selection?Different type of fire suppression systems like Deluge, Clean agent (FM200, NOVEC 1230), Sprinkler etc.
