Attend assigned tickets at various buildings and MW Base Station Sites & customer sites.
Evaluate service requests and clarify the requirements with supervisor / end users
Escalate and coordinate with Supervisor
Strictly follow change management practices
Undertake following activities strictly following standard procedures / work instructions:? Laying and termination of fiber patch cables between ODF?s, Racks, and Network Elements etc.? Structured cabling for data centers, exchanges and central offices? Troubleshooting of fiber faults using OTDR testers etc.? Remote hands and eyes support for Radio Base Station Fault Troubleshooting? Basic Troubleshooting of Radio Base Station Physical Connections? Remote hands and eyes support for Engineers during change activities? Onsite support to replace faulty hardware? Onsite support for physical and environmental verifications? Support Physical installation of Racks, ODF?s, Switches, Servers, Routers etc.? Lay and connect power cables from equipment?s to distribution panels? Support engineers with acceptance tests (power redundancy, physical connections, board redundancy, link redundancy etc.) following the standard checklist? Preventive maintenance activities (Cleaning/Dusting, physical health check etc) following the standard checklist? Decommissioning of Network elements from Rack and moving to designated staging locations? Physical inspection and housekeeping of Equipment rooms? Support migration of services (link shifting, equipment relocation etc.)? Support 3 rd parties with facilitation services (site access, supervision, connections etc.) during their work at the company?s premises? Tracing and correction of fiber/copper cabling? Basic knowledge of Computer & IP addresses? Basic Troubleshooting of MW Link Physical Connections? Basic knowledge of Remote Desktop application & MS office (Any Desk, Team viewer, Excel.. etc..)? Good communication skills - Ability to communicate in English? Basic understanding of power cabling, DC/AC power and MCB? Field support for MW link Troubleshooting at Base station & customer locations? Support Physical installation of Racks, MW Indoor units
