Job Description

A Field Collector is responsible for collecting outstanding debts from clients or customers in a timely and professional manner. They will be required to visit clients in person to negotiate payment plans, issue reminders, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. They should also have a solid understanding of financial transactions and be proficient in using collection software and tools.Responsibilities:

  1. Visit clients in person to collect outstanding debts.
  2. Negotiate payment plans and agreements with clients.
  3. Issue reminders and follow-up on overdue payments.
  4. Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the collection process.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and transactions.
  6. Provide regular updates to management on the status of outstanding debts.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate the collection process.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as legal or customer service, to resolve complex collection cases.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in debt collection or related field.
  2. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  3. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  4. Proficient in using collection software and tools.
  5. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
  6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  8. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  9. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
