Job Description
Supervise the execution of OSP network cable works at site and update the records including DSR confirmation.
Coordinate with Contractor team for the following activities: locate buried joint boxes and clear duct blockages, assist Contractors for their site survey & Deployment of Fiber Optic cable from ODF to FTB/ONT including testing & preparation of reports.
Coordinate with˙ Plant Protection Officer (PPO) for any damage cases observed.
Maintain the records of all activities carried out on daily basis and Internal & External SLAs requirements.
Status of work orders shall be provided to concerned˙ team upon their request through email or by telephone.
Maintain all report related to Fiber Optic contractors and FO unit.
Coordinate with all˙ sections related to the Fiber works as and when required.
Inspect the work completed at site and certify the site inspection check list.
Test the Fibers in coordination with concerned sections, as and when required and prepare the test reports.
Use˙ systems like E-Teams, Cable System, ERP or any other systems required for the smooth & efficient execution of Fiber optic works.
