Facilities Engineer - MechanicalDescription :•Steward feasibility studies, prepare Scope of Work, complete Work Packages, and Fitness For Service (FFS) assessment.•Prepare SOW and steward development of static engineering conceptual studies (pre-FEED studies).•Participate and lead in failure investigations (RCFA/BA). Have good understanding of reliability concepts.•Participate and lead risk screenings/assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.•Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) / Technical Authorities (TAs), extend technical support to address major accident hazards.•Work independently and address design and operational issues.•Resolution of plant vulnerabilities and operational issues.•Development and review of mechanical datasheet and design checks.•Participate in independent design reviews, model reviews, lessons learned workshops, etc.🎓Qualifications : 📕Experience in Oil & Gas industry, and knowledge of static equipment design codes and standards: Process plant piping design.•Excellent knowledge of ASME B31.3, ANSI, API, etc. Pressure vessels and heat exchangers design.•Excellent knowledge ASME Sec VIII Div 1, Div 2, ANSI, API, TEMA and ALPEMA standards.•Hands on experience in mechanical/piping standard software used for design - CAESAR II, Auto Pipe, PV Elite, Compress, Nozzle Pro, HTRI etc.•Engineering degree in Mechanical•4 years experience in an oil and gas environment•Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant software tools🌠Location : QatarðŸ“
