Job Description

About the role:?As Events Specialist you will co-ordinate and execute Hamad International Airport?s program of events.Events include passenger activations for i.e. annual national, CSR and marketing campaigns, events in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as well as handling sponsorship requests. Also assists with Qatar Airways events when required including events where the Qatar Airways brand can be showcased and promoted.Key responsibilities

  • Implement HIAs events, promotions and exhibitions program.
  • Assist with preparation of budgets for all events and request the necessary approvals.
  • Assist with preparing overall Events & Exhibitions annual budget based on confirmed events and projected events for upcoming Financial Year.
  • Assist with the management of costs while ensuring all projects are executed with pre-approved budgets.
  • Coordinate the production and supply of promotional items to ensure the successful completion of an event.
