Employment: Full Time Monitor the daily operation and the performance of the SCADA Master Station System.Monitor the SCADA Master Station System communication system performance and availabilities.Monitor and manage any new SCADA projects and upgrading work activities in the SCADA Master Station and Pumping Stations.Perform configuration works in the SCADA Master Station which includes configuring of I/O drivers, I/Os mapping arrangement and HMI engineering work.Coordinate SCADA site works which include RTUs and PLCs programming works, SCADA control relays wiring and modification works.Monitor and manage SCADA related testing and commissioning work which include site inspection, witness acceptance test and work conformance of job specifications and standards.Troubleshoot and rectify SCADA related site issues.Review SCADA documentation submitted to the SCADA unit.Monitor and manage the Pumping Station Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work schedules and work progress.Checking and verifying the PMs and CMs reports submitted by the appointed SCADA maintenance contractor.Collaborate with the Pumping Station Area Engineers for the PMs, CMs and PS Shutdown works/activities.Arrange and manage site surveying works for new Pumping Stations to be added into the SCADA Master station.Preparing of SCADA site survey work report.Preparing of the SCADA unit monthly performance report.Ordering of new SCADA spare parts and the inspection work of new SCADA spare parts received.Monitor and manage of the movement of the SCADA spare parts from the warehouse and the SCADA store.Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and comply with any new work instructionsPerform other duties/ tasks as required.Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and comply with any new work instructions REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering/ Relevant SubjectEducation qualification obtained from North America, West Europe, AustraliaChartered Membership in Engineering or Relevant professional body preferred and would be an advantageCurrent/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantageMinimum of 9 years cumulative experience in a relevant filed including 3 years in similar position.Experience in operating and managing Instrument and Control Systems, including PLCs and SCADA Automation of Drainage systems or continuous process industriesKnowledge and experience of SCADA related hardware and softwareKnowledge and experience of sewer, TSE and Surface Groundwater networks including pump stations and treatment facilitiesExperience in Microsoft Office Packages and SCADA TechnologyAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in English is mandatoryAbility to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic is preferred
