Employment: Full Time BSc / BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. M.Sc. is an advantage.CEng, PE, PEng or equivalent Chartership is a must.Minimum demonstrable experience of 8 years as a Chartered Engineer20 years of demonstrable experience in design & construction of Drainage projects, with satisfactory exposure to all related disciplines.Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience with management capacity. REQUIREMENTS: Assist in the preparation of strategic plans for Qatar and particular DohaLiaison with the various Engineers within the Drainage Networks Design Department to ensure conformity to the overall plan and to highlights conflictsTo assist in reviewing current design practice and where necessary modify to suitTo be familiar with contractual proceduresSupervise and control the activities of assigned personnel including allocating work and determining prioritiesPerforms supervisory functions and exercise authority at section head level established by the Manager of Drainage Networks Design DepartmentSupervise a team of Engineers responsible for the review of designsExperience in Water NetworkingTo assist in initiating new work and preparation of design briefs to ConsultantsAuditing Consultants submissions in terms of quality and conformance to the requirements of the design briefs
