Job SummaryThe Design Manager ensures to provide Structural Design and Technical support to organization Technical Design team and Projects Site.? This position is responsible for driving and finalizing key aspects of design, assessing buildability, value engineering, liaising with the architects, structural engineers, other consultants and the site production team to ensure the smooth flow of detailed information throughout project lifecycles.Job Responsibilities 1Principal Accountabilities* Reviews all specifications, drawings and bill requirements to define all architectural requirements for the Project.* Assists in the interpretation of architectural design standards established by local jurisdictions* Prepares, reviews and evaluates contract technical specification for architectural elements of capital improvement projects.* Administers and provides concepts for improving plans according to circumstances and resolving any related problems that may arise during constructionJob Responsibilities 21.Supports the planning and estimating stage of projects to design and ensure the most efficient, safe and economic form system are incorporated and implemented into the project.* Supervises and directs the activity and development with regard to the technical aspects of formwork design/layout, forming materials, system selection and proper implementation.2.Oversees and coordinates material purchases, deliveries, tracking and forecasting ensuring maximum utilization of physical resources.* Stays abreast of innovative developments and incorporates these advancements in the development and design of new forming systems/equipment intended to expand productivity, capabilities and market share.* Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company?s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.* Works in cooperation with other office personnel to negotiate and execute sales contracts consistent with policies3.Performs other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization* Contributes to the projects safety goals by reducing hazards during the design planning state ensuring that all formwork systems meet construction and safety standards.* Assists with the development and coordination of material and equipment schedules and promotes their efficient usAdditional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & Skills* Advanced knowledge of BIM Modeling and AutoCAD* Knowledge using IT in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided Design software.* Demonstrable knowledge and implementation experience of Enterprise Application Architectures/Integration and associated patterns* Demonstrated track record of project execution and delivery.* Knowledge in preparation of tender applications and presentations.* In-depth knowledge of drawing requirements and work execution.* Knowledge of safety and relevant Osha requirements and regulations.Job ExperienceTotal??15 year(s)On Job????7 year(s)GCC???2 year(s)CompetenciesShows Entrepreneurial Spirit - ProficientAgility - ProficientStrives for Innovation - ProficientDemonstrates Resilience - ProficientCreates Strategy M2Demonstrates Accountability - ProficientDrives Performance M2Cultivates Loyalty & Integrity - ProficientPromotes Teamwork - ProficientDevelops Future Leaders M2Reading/Comprehension Of Contract Drawings L1Civil Buildings Design/Drafting Finishing Details Design L2Consolidation And Renovation Analysis L2Building Diagnostics L2Education
