Key Result Areas:• The delivery of best practice Engineering services for defined marine repair, conversion and new building & offshore jobs within the work stream and as aligned with the yard strategy.• Fit for purpose engineering design and drawing work within minimal to no re-work.Interactions and Working Relations:Internal: Section Management, Supervision and Industrial Workers. Operations - Project ManagersPurpose:To integrate and operationalize the Project Engineering and Project Management plans into Production Engineering plans, and as relevant for either Execution, Quality, Safety or Maintenance. External: Clients, Subcontractors, Service Engineers, Class Surveyors, VendorsPurpose:To communicate and hold dialogue in regard to client specifications & requirements & provide progress reports.Qualifications, Experience and Job SkillsQualifications:• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperience:• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Marine & Offshore design, preferably in shipyard, with at least 3 years of core experience in auto computer-aided design (ACAD). Knowledge of Piping 3D modelling software’s, Pressure vessel design software’s is preferred.• Must be familiar with piping specifications of Marine & Offshore piping design, technical practices, design instructions, plot plans, flow diagrams, pipe support design.Job Specific Competencies:i.
