Ensures to distribute the design documents to the stakeholders through DC.
Ensures to Manage the consultant to obtain all authorities approvals on time (Civil defense, Kahrama, Building Permit, MOE, QTA,?)and resolve constraints if any.
Ensures to liaise with client rep to obtain all required documents, undertaking letters for authorities approvals.
Ensures to ensure that the designed project is sustainable to the required rate as per QSAS, GSAS or LEED requirements.
Conducts and prepares design alternative schemes, where necessary; for Client?s review and comment.
Manages and develops Value Engineering schemes and schedules to optimize with the latest technical innovations appropriate for the Project which will benefit cost efficiencies and accelerate the construction completion programmes.
Develops various Schedules on Architectural finishes, materials, specifications criteria, etc. which may aid as a tools in the procurement and budget cost parameters required for the Project.
3.?Reviews the key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to quality of construction/design, implementation and co-ordination of design changes including Quality Assurance in accordance with the design Consultants? contracted scope of services.
Timely ensures that the design deliverables are meeting the client requirements.

4.?Reviews and recommends the requirements for control samples and coordinate these with the Design Team, the Client and the Contractor.
Ensures to manage the interior design process (RFP, bids review, appointing of ID, ID design deliverables).
Ensures to manage the coordination process between the ID and the AOR and ensure the deliverables are on time for each.
Ensures to obtain the required control samples form the ID and handover to the project technical manager along with ID deliverables.
Ensures to coordinate with procurement, estimation & the client to ensure that ID material are approved, technically accepted, available and value engineered within the budget.
Ensures that the deliverables of the specialty consultants are integrated in the lead consultant design deliverables with no conflict.
Manages the construction/design deliverables in accordance with construction requirements and Client?s expectations.
Develops the design concept on time based on the project brief and project value.
Manages the production of the time schedule prepared by the planning engineer.

2.?Reviews and monitors the Design Team?s and contractor construction/design processes, procedures and quality management plans therefore ensuring distribution of all construction/design information and documentation to all relevant Parties. Technical Review and validation of the Project?s design schemes and Proposals submitted by the Design Specialists ensuring building efficiencies, design mix, design competency & innovation, code conformance, etc. are fully complied in accordance to the Project objectives. In addition, the Design Manager is responsible to issue the corresponding Report and Narrative on the outcome of his review & assessment for Client?s review and directive.
Ensures too establish the communication line with client, project management, lead consultant, ID consultant, specialty consultants, main contractor, commercial & estimation, supervising consultant and ensure it is strictly followed during the design development.
Ensures to manage the process of the design development.
Ensures to review the design deliverables for each design stage with design team and ensure the quality of Design.
Ensures to conduct constructability review of the delivered design documents.
Ensures to ensure value engineering is being done for the design.
Ensures to manage the technical review of the design deliverables and ensure that technically, operationally and functionally it fit for purpose.
