Job Description

Title: Debt Restructuring ManagerLocation: QatarAventus has recently been mandated by a leading Regional Bank to hire a Manager International Restructuring & Distressed Debt to join their growing team.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good relationship with the customer and ensure prompt, proper and frequent communication and interface is made with assigned customers at an early stage to clearly articulate the bank?s strategy and expectations for early repayment.
  • Assess the true status of the customer?s business while conduct thorough assessment and due diligence to be able to recommend / or adjust if necessary, the most appropriate and feasible remedial / work out strategy and be formulated.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who matches the following requirements:Requirements:
  • Must come from a Banking background who has good technical skills in handling debt restructuring cases and dealing with customers.
  • Should have dealt with $10M - $200M worth of deal size.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of working experience
  • Minimum educational requirements: Bachelors Degree in Banking/Finance
  • Good amount of experience in Corporate Finance, Retail and Private Banking, Investment Banking and banking operations in general.
The role is open to local and international candidates. International candidates must be open to relocation to Qatar.Interested candidates are encouraged to respond with an updated CV.
