Job Description

Overview**This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP**

  • Planning and supervising the work of subordinates? staff by coordinating, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating work. Provide accountability for cargo received and shipped through the CRSP shipping and receiving section according the current Performance Work Statement. Reconcile reports on a monthly, quarterly, & fiscal year basis. Act as a liaison with regards to the CRSP?s internal and external customers. Ensure that safety standards, security procedures, and departmental rules are observed and maintained.
ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
  • Individual is responsible for all activities pertaining to the CRSP and its functions as outline in the PWS. Also perform other duties and assignments as required.
  • The following is a list of the major responsibilities of the job and an estimate of the percentage of time spent on each responsibility:
  • Supervise and participate in Central Warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and material transportation.
  • Supervise and participate in the preparation and maintenance of documents to include, but not limited to, delivery manifests, stock pick tickets and credit memos for returned materials to ensure accurate records of activities.
  • Maintain liaison with customers and other related persons to communicate information related to deliveries, irregularities in shipments, shipment delays and other related matters.
  • Maintain schedules for deliveries, delivery routes as well as schedules of preventive maintenance on delivery truck fleet and equipment to ensure efficient operation of vehicles and equipment.
  • Compile operational data to assist in preparing reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions.
  • Recommend various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.
  • Supervise, coordinate and participate in special and scheduled warehouse material inventories as required.
  • Establish and maintain an approved CRSP SOP.
  • Working knowledge of CMOS, RFID tags, Container management, TIPS-Write, and Integrated Booking System.
  • Coordinates POV shipments for military / government personnel.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • H.S. Diploma, GED, or higher.
    • Must be able to obtain a CAC Card
    • Candidate must be US Military HAZMAT Ammo 62 qualified.
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:
    • To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.
  • Experience:
    • Position requires minimum of 2 years of shipping, receiving, stocking and warehousing experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to supervise employees effectively; work under pressure, strict timelines, and regulations.
    • Ability to establish and maintain and effective working relationship with external and internal customers, ability to keep records and prepare reports.
    • Must be a self-starter, perform under no supervision.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing to customers and workers.
    • Respond to public inquiries and complaints in a tactful and effective manner.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • CRSP Supervisor is a direct Supervisor to 11 personnel and is responsible for all daily CRSP Warehouse and mission activities.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
