Job Description

About this role:

  • Project Controls
    • Analyze performance indicators and assist project owners in completion of the project within its planned scope, schedule and budget.
    • Routinely performing complete or component analysis of the project and notifying the entire project team about abnormalities or variances
    • Reduce project lags by supporting internal teams and vendor/contractor activities on strategic data analysis.
    • Monitor, analyze and validate project status, ensure timely and accurate updating of project dashboard and highlight issues early to the stakeholders
    • Collect, coordinate, monitor and track cost data with contractors, vendors and project team members to manage project forecast.
    • Evaluate and track contract deliverables, spending and invoicing
    • Work-up with Finance and C&P to ensure established procurement policy, accounting processes, systems, and procedures are followed
  • Project Budgeting/Forecasting
    • Develop past period cost and budget performance report
    • Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly forecast and annual budgets
    • Perform monthly financial projections by analyzing consultant, employee and subcontract labor for projects
    • Actively participate in budgeting process
    • Collaborate with project team to develop, manage and control cost schedules
    • Analyze start, completion and duration variances through approved baseline schedules & cost
    • Work in coordination with the team on project spending trends, variances, forecasts etc.
    • Act as point of contact for budget holders, instrumental in support and central to enhancing budget holder understanding of the reporting processes and their responsibilities
  • Compliance
    • Promote a good P2P practice throughout the organization with no invoices received without PO and all approval of invoices in compliance with DOA
    • Responsible for validation of PR raised by business which is verified against budget creation
    • Invoice verification against PO prior to business release
    • Comply with provisions of contracts, JVA and Delegation of AuthorityoPrepare ad-hoc cost monitoring reports for entities under direct responsibility
What you need to bring:
  • 4-5 years Project Cost Control experience, JV environment experience would be a plus.
  • Degree level preferred in Project Control, Accounting, Finance or other related discipline.
  • Detail oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
  • Good system knowledge especially SAP FI/CO, Power BI, BW and Excel.
