Job Description

SUMMARYQualification: Diploma/ welding training programme conducted by valid institute (certificate MIG welding training certificate/experience.Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Experience in container repairs.Salary: Basic Qr 1400 + Qr 450 Food Allowance + Accommodation + TransportationRoles & Responsibilities: -- Responsibility of the Fabricator includes fitting, joining, fabricating and repairing containers by applying appropriate techniques to have the containers repaired as per industry standard and on timely manner.- Able to operate the equipment safely and uses safe work habits while performing job, ARC and MIG welding equipment.- Able to setup and operate fabricating machines such as flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut form punch, drill or otherwise form and assemble metal components.- Good knowledge, operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisor. on cutting machines, gases, electrical supply and other helping equipment for welding work/fabrication. Straighten bent parts using jacks and hand torches.- Ability to read /understand estimate/job order which the supervisor prepared/given, work extra hours according to the work requirements.- Perform routine maintenance on all the equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required equipment at any given time.- High knowledge of container floor repair and paint work and other needs.- Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items. Perform a variety of tasks related to container repairs as and when required. Containers are repaired as per industry standards and on timely manner.- Wear correct PPE gear at all times.
