˙Duties and Responsibility˙1. To liaise daily with CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE and discuss the work to be done, both for the day and into the immediate future. To accept work orders andverbal instructions of tasks to be done including those scheduled as well as of˙ urgent/corrective nature.˙2. Collects operating data on a routine basis for all rotating equipment using hand held instrumentations as well as the permanent instrumentations mounted on these equipment?s and available at central control panels.˙3. Conduct basic analysis at steady and transient state, using different kind of data collectors (CSI, SKF, Bently Nevada) as well as the software associated to the data collectors.˙4. Carry out field balancing of small rotating machines.˙5. Carry out thermography survey as and when required.˙6. Highlights any change in equipment performance and efficiency levels. Monitors trends of such data and initiate action(s) when limits are reached by informing CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE.˙7. Feeds all vibration readings into the computer either manually or via suitable computer interfaces for accurate trends analysis and better diagnosis. Suggests short term corrective actions based on the equipment performance and mechanical behavior˙8. Collect pre-overhaul vibration and operation data and undertake post overhaul vibration analysis to ensure that readings are within acceptable limits.˙9. Carry out routine, planned, unplanned condition monitoring activities of the various rotating machines at CLIENT locations under Mesaieed Operations and any newly added rotating equipment in the various CLIENT locations/stations.˙a) NGL-1, 2 and Storage & Loading facilities and common utilities.˙b) NGL 3, 4 & NGSF Plants˙c) Tank Farm & Terminal˙d) Transmission & Distribution System- GDS Stations (all the Gas Distribution Stations across Mesaieed to Ras Laffan)˙e) Any other newly added machines during contract tenure.˙10. Generate daily condition monitoring report.
