CNC Operator

Job Description

Qualification: -? High school diploma or equivalent.? Vocational training or certification in injection moulding or a related field.? Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.Experience: -? Experience with CNC machines.? Familiarity with quality control procedures.? Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.? Attention to detail and safety-consciousness. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.? Working knowledge of injection moulding machines, tools and equipment.? GCC experience will be an added advantage.Responsibilities: -? Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and other specifications to determine mould setup requirements.? Align mould halves in injection-molding machines, clamp them together, and inject molten plastic into the mould cavity.? Remove moulded products from molds, using hand tools, and trim excess material from products, using power knives, hand tools, and sanders.? Install and adjust robotic arms that remove products from molds.? Start up and shut down injection-moulding machines.? Monitor machine operation to detect problems such as clogged nozzles or faulty heating elements.? Adjust machine controls when necessary to compensate for changes in temperature and material viscosity.? Weigh out specified amounts of raw materials and load them into hoppers.? Record production data, such as volume produced, scraped product, and time required for each moulding cycle.? Inspect finished products for defects and measure products with rulers or callipers to ensure adherence to specifications.? Clean moulds and machines, using solvents and brushes, and lubricate machines, using oils and greases.? Perform routine maintenance on injection-moulding machines.? Oversee documentation and statutory approvals related to registration of new company branches and expansion initiatives at multiple location.Work Environment: -? The work setting of this manufacturing facility provides adequate lighting, noise levels will be moving between moderate to high noise levels.? Required Personal Protection Equipment includes Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection for any person in the production area.? Additional PPE may be required, i.e. gloves, face masks, face shields, dependent on the specific job being performed and company safety rules and regulations.? Because of the nature of this business, the temperature in the production facility can be very hot during the hotter times of the year.? Typically, the temperature is more comfortable during the more moderate temperature times of the year.?
