Key Roles & Responsibilities? Inspect and ensure the upkeep of the area is always maintained? Visit/inspect site daily and report discrepancies if any? Inspect the site and raise service requests for any issues that require immediate action to service provider? Follow up on civil works and asset preventive maintenance schedules, reactive maintenance and corrective maintenance? Regular check and follow up on security incident reports and damages to property for further action and resolution? Manage insurance claims process on accidental damages to property? Direct and coordinate construction, maintenance, support, documentation, and related activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and requirements? Inspect completed civil engineering works and observe, to ensure conformance to design and specifications and compliance with safety standards? Coordinate with external contractor and suppliers as per the requirement? Review calculations done by the contractor to check and ensure standards and specifications? Respond and provide assistance to any civil engineering related issues whether it is urgent/emergency call or corrective works within facilities? Support by ensuring regular update/ monitoring and proper execution of maintenance plans and documentation? Identify engineered resolutions to recurring civil engineering issues? Recommend improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures and working condition activities for the area and site? Analyze information related to civil engineering works and prepare engineering reports on that regard to the management? Perform job related duties as assignedEducation & Professional Qualification:- Bachelor of Science - Civil Engineering is required- Certification and Registration as an Engineer in the State of QatarProfessional Experience:- Minimum 6 - 8 years practical civil engineering experience and at least 3 years of experience in facility managementGeographic Experience:- Not requiredComputer Skills:- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, CAFM, MS OfficeLanguage Skills:- Business fluent English (verbal and written)Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge:- Knowledge of the building process and construction principles- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes- Experience in civil design from conceptual stage to final commissioning and handover of various types of commercial, institutional, residential, retail, and other activities- Experience in reading design specifications and technical drawings
