Job Description

DescriptionThe Business Development Manager is responsible for leading market development and new strategic sales (independent and small chain, retail store fronts, and digital) in Qatar. The position is responsible for professionally promoting all Company?s products to new and existing retail establishments with the goal of achieving sales growth in Qatar. The BDM is also responsible for developing and executing sales plans, coordinate efforts with territory partners in a team environment, accurately complete routine reports and be compliant with regulatory and company guidelines.Primary Responsibilities

  • Sales focus will be strategic with emphasis on competitive takeaways, as well as small to medium sized businesses, including; retailers, check casher, ethnic merchants and financial institutions.
  • Ability to prepare and develop business initiatives for telecom product streams and services
  • Be able to develop and plan digital remittance platforms, maintain them throughout, and handle after sales services for digital platforms.
  • Be familiar with the most recent requirements in order to build effective international remittance products and processes.
  • Identify business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their foreign exchange needs in Digital Remittance; researching and analyzing to ascertain actual opportunity.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Company?s products and services and competitor products and services to further educate business owners and decision makers.
  • Participate in tradeshows and other industry meetings as required.
  • Identify, design, and implement campaigns to promote the service to the customers in Qatar.
  • Exceed revenue set by management to the BDM
  • Experience in managing a team / taskforce to push the service and getting market insights
  • Plan and manage corridor and product strategies to drive volume growth in coordination with marketing managers, corridor managers, and product managers.
  • Maintain up-to-date database to document sales call information, trends, future call objectives, sampling data and overall sales performance.
  • Use all available data and reporting to identify growth opportunities within sales territory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
