Employment: Full Time -Lead the development and delivery of all design aspects of a project.-Ensure buildability, cost effectiveness and a high standard of finish as required.-Prepare and develop packages such as internal finishes and tiling layouts-Review and administer finishes of installed works.-Taking a brief, getting consultants together on price, time and the required quality standard.-Produce and manage site design documents.-Establish, monitor and manage site design and procurement program cognizant of Employer quality standards and processes.-Provide technical assistance in reviewing design-oriented variations, audit consultants quality assurance programmes.-Manage and resolve all design issues that may be raised from time to time by the Employer, authorities, Employer management and others.-Review design aspects and risk of tender documents.-Selecting appropriate and experienced consultant groups, leading and organizing combined in-house and consultant tender submission design teams and post tender on award.-Provide assistance and advice on authorities approval issues.-Directly involved in the design stages of a project and documentation.-Ensure that reporting on design is completed accurately and on time.-Understand the Employers REQUIREMENTS and communicate these to the project team.-Management and coordination of documentation required to achieve Practical Completion-Management of site document control systems, including maintenance of the document registers (drawings, specifications, RFIs etc).-Manage other consultants and design elements from Contractors & suppliers-Advise & implement Employer design reviews and Tenant /Operations requirements.-Produce Employer Option preliminary designs to review feasibility-Ensure technical compliance with Funding agreements.-Participate in Value Engineering. REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelors degree in design, architecture or related field-Minimum 10 years experience in the same capacity pref. residential, building and Mall/mixed use projects-Well adept in 2D/3D Autocadd, Photoshop, SketchUp, MS Office-Effective verbal and listening communications skills-Maintains excellent standards of conduct-Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity-Demonstrate sound work ethics-Trustworthy with confidential and sensitive company information
