Nair Systems is currently looking for Application Tester for our Qatar operations with the following Skill set and terms & conditions.Skills and Experience:Required Experience:•Experience: Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field is required. This can include experience with manual testing, automated testing, and using various testing tools and technologies.•Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies, as well as experience with various testing tools and technologies. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is a plus.•Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to review and analyse requirements and specifications, and to identify and report defects or issues found during test phase.•Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and vendors.•Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during test phase.•Project Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps•Quality Mindset: A quality-focused mindset and understanding of testing best practices and industry standards.•Data Privacy: Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.•Minimum 3-4 years’ relevant expertise in testing wealth management software.Minimum Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred.•Good knowledge of wealth management product•Complete Trade Life Cycle of wealth management products•Knowledge about functionalities of fund house like Saxo, Allfunds etc•Functional certification in Wealth management domain is a plus.•Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret complex data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights. Ability to work with large datasets, perform data mapping, and define data models for wealth management systems.Responsibilities:•Test Planning: Creating of a test plan and a test strategy documentation for Operational activities.•Test case and test scenario creation: Responsible for designing test scenarios/ scenarios for functional +ve and -ve test cases. Create traceability matrix vis-à-vis functional specification /Business requirement documentation.•Reviewing and analysing requirements and specifications to develop a comprehensive quality and test plan•Create test cases and test scenarios based on test basis documents (BRD), experience or industry standards•Executing tests, including manual and automated testing to ensure software meets requirements•Test execution: Responsible for conducting and testing, thereafter, analyse the results and then submit observations to the development team. Recording the test evidences on DevOps tool.•Defect management: Create test-product documentation using DevOps tool and creation of bugs with relevant screenshots, and has to participate in testing related walk through.
