Job Description

Urgent requirement for MS 365 Security engineer to join our client on remote basisLocation: RemoteContract : 12months with extensionsPackage : Competitive net salaryMain Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain our organizations local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure. Configure and support network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity, latency, and bandwidth problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and security standards. Perform network security assessments and implement security controls to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users and other IT teams. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in networking. ________________________________________ Skills Required: Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). Experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco routers and switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba wireless controllers. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Cisco Prime. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. ________________________________________ Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role. Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent are highly desirable.
