Job Description

Job Title: Azure Architect Key Responsibilities: Design and architect Azure solutions to meet the business and technical requirements of our clients, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Lead the implementation of Azure solutions, including the setup of Azure infrastructure, deployment of applications, and configuration of services. Develop and execute cloud strategies, including migration plans, cloud-native application development, and hybrid cloud solutions. Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver successful Azure projects. Continuously monitor and optimize Azure environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and best practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Azure environments, addressing issues and implementing solutions promptly. Ensure that all Azure solutions comply with security policies and best practices, implementing necessary measures to protect data and applications. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and knowledge of Azure technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and Azure solutions design. Relevant Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security, and Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager. Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
