Urgent requirement for IR Recovery lead to join our client on remote basisLocation: Remote Contract : 12months with extensions Package : Competitive net salaryJob Title: IR Recovery Lead Key Responsibilities: Lead the incident recovery process following cybersecurity incidents, including breaches, data leaks, ransomware attacks, and other security breaches. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective incident response and recovery efforts. Develop and implement incident recovery plans and procedures to restore affected systems, data, and services to a secure state. Conduct post-incident reviews and analyses to identify root causes, lessons learned, and areas for improvement in incident response and recovery processes. Collaborate with forensic analysts, threat intelligence analysts, and other cybersecurity experts to gather evidence, assess the impact of incidents, and remediate vulnerabilities. Communicate with executive leadership, IT teams, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities as necessary to provide updates on incident recovery efforts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior members of the Incident Response team, helping them develop their skills and expertise in incident recovery. Stay informed about emerging threats, attack techniques, and cybersecurity best practices to enhance incident recovery capabilities and adapt response strategies accordingly. Document incident recovery activities, including recovery plans, procedures, timelines, and outcomes, in accordance with organizational policies and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in incident response, cybersecurity operations, or related roles, with a focus on incident recovery and remediation. Strong technical skills in cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, and network security monitoring solutions. Experience leading incident response and recovery efforts for complex cybersecurity incidents, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of incident recovery methodologies, forensic techniques, and data restoration procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
