Job Description

Urgent requirement for End user computing architect to join our client on remote basis. Job Title: End User Computing ArchitectLocation: Remote Contract: 12 Months with extensions Package: Competitive net salary Key Responsibilities: Design and architect end-user computing solutions, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for end-user computing environments to ensure consistency and security. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate end-user computing solutions with existing IT infrastructure and applications. Evaluate and select appropriate end-user computing technologies, tools, and platforms to meet organizational needs. Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of end-user computing devices and software. Ensure the security and compliance of end-user computing environments by implementing best practices and security measures. Conduct regular assessments of end-user computing performance and user satisfaction, and implement improvements as necessary. Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in end-user computing, and make recommendations for adoption. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of end-user computing architectures, configurations, and procedures. Lead and participate in end-user computing projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support. Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users to ensure proper use and management of end-user computing resources. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in end-user computing or a related IT field. Proven experience in designing and implementing end-user computing solutions, including VDI, BYOD, and mobile device management (MDM). Strong understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as mobile OS such as iOS and Android. Familiarity with end-user computing technologies such as VMware Horizon, Citrix, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), and SCCM. Knowledge of network and security principles as they relate to end-user computing. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility) are a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
