GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Leasing Manager is responsible for the leasing of residential properties. This includes marketing and advertising properties, qualifying, and screening tenants, negotiating lease terms, and processing leases. The Leasing Manager also oversees the maintenance of properties and the resolution of tenant issues.Responsibilities: 1. Developing and implementing long-term leasing strategies 2. Identifying and evaluating new market opportunities 3. Overseeing the development of new properties 4. Managing relationships with key stakeholders 5. Providing input on the companys overall business strategy 6. Managing a team of leasing agents 7. Reporting: Monthly leasing report: Occupancy rates Vacancy rates Average rent Number of new leases signed. Number of leases renewed. Number of tenants moved out. Total revenue Total expenses Profit/loss Quarterly financial report: Revenue Expenses Profit/loss Cash flow Balance sheet Annual budget report: Projected revenue Projected expenses Projected profit/loss Capital expenditures. Maintenance budget Special reports: Report on a specific event or issue that impacts the property. Report on a new tenant Report on a maintenance issue Report on a change in the market 8. Achieving strategical goals (Increasing occupancy rates, reducing vacancy rates, increasing average rent, Improving tenant satisfaction, Building a strong brand reputation, and Expanding into new markets)9. Developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns10. Creating and managing budgets11. Negotiating with vendors and contractors12. Overseeing the maintenance and repairs of properties13. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations14. Developing and implementing tenant relations programs15. Providing leadership and direction to the leasing team16.
