AWS Solution Architect

Job Description

The AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This individual will act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and working closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into scalable and cost-effective AWS solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of AWS-based solutions for clients, including infrastructure, application architecture, and automation. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to team members on AWS best practices and solution design. Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-effectiveness of AWS solutions. Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS technologies and offerings, and continually assess their potential value for clients.Additional Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification. Experience and Skills Required: 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS. 15+ years of total IT experience in various cloud solutions and able to suggest to clients. Experience designing and implementing complex cloud infrastructure solutions for clients. Experience leading technical teams and providing guidance and mentorship to team members Strong understanding of AWS services and how they can be used to build scalable and cost-effective solutions. Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience of AWS Solutions (Outposts, Cloud Migrations, SysOps, DevOps, Analytics, MLOps). Basic understanding of AWS Well Architected Framework. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for clients and team members. Experience designing and implementing infrastructure as code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
