JobDescription VulcanizingTechnicianwill be handling specializedvulcanizing taskswhen required,in additiontonormalregulartechnicalworkswithintheteam. Thecandidateshallcoveralltheskillsrequiredtocompletevariousmaintenance&repair activitiesspecifiedinthisdocument.Theallocatedcrew/teamshallbeabletoperform alltasksandcompletetheworksasneededandasrequiredbytheCompanyscopeof work. Candidate must have adequate knowledge, training, skills and experience to safely perform the scope of work as per the Company requirement, by following all safety procedures. ThecandidateshallhavegoodEnglishlanguageskills,writtenandspoken. Thecandidate shallbewellconversantwith the safetyissues,natureofjob,and risks involvedinthejobsanditsmitigations. All the candidates must have the relevant specialized conveyor belt experience (as indicatedinJobspecificScopeofWork). Techniciansmusthavetherelevantexperiencetoexecutethevulcanizingactivity. JDVulcanizingTechnician MajorResponsibilities: CandidateshallcoverallrequirementsofPreventivemaintenanceandemergencyrepair ofConveyorsystems.Theconveyorsystemsareoperatinginsidethemainplant,Inter connectedpiperackandJetty/PortareainMesaieedIndustrialCity(MICarea).Theother majorresponsibilitiesofcandidatesistoensuretheconveyorsystemisworkingsafeand reliablebycarryingoutpropermaintenance&repairs.Incaseofanybreakdown/damage, appropriatecorrectiveworksaretobeperformedtorestoretheequipmentasquickas possibleaspertherequirement,roundtheclock. Due to criticaland specialized nature of theconveyor system,all thecandidatesmust havingadequateexperienceinsimilarconveyorsystemandproventrackrecordofsafe andtimelyexecutionofworksinnitrogenousfertilizerplants,petrochemicals,oil&gas industriesetc. The candidates must have the knowledge of studying the requirements of job in & referencedocumentsindetailsbeforethissitevisit&getalltheirqueriesclarified. Activities: Daily/weekly/monthlyroutinePreventiveMaintenanceofCompanyproduction&export conveyorsaspertheplan. Inaddition,detailsofCorrectiveMaintenancejobswillalsobesharedduringsitevisit. Repair/ replacementofbeltconveyorjoint /beltportionbycold/hotvulcanizingasper instructionfromareaSupervisor. Repairofbeltjointsinemergencybymechanicalfasteners. Replacementofconveyorbeltsandcomponents(drive/tail/tension/bend/snubpulleys, carry/return/selfaligning/guide/tracking/trainingidlers,side/backskirts,front/rear scrappers,chuterubber) Performdrumlaggingandbearing/housingreplacementasperrequirement. Arrangementduringbeltreplacement/repair(gravitytakeup) Trackingofbelts/adjustmentofscrapperasperrequirement. Sheavesandropereplacementatgravitytrolleys. Lubricationofbearingsandrollersintheconveyorsystemasrequired. Prepareendlessbeltsasrequired. Maintenance, trouble shooting and replacement of conveyor drive unit (includingmotor, coupling,gearbox,andbase). ExecutionofPMandplannedjobsatUreaconveyorsduringprilling/granulationwashing/ plantstoppage.Listofprilling/granulationwashingjobswillbesharedduringsitevisit. Maintenanceandtroubleshootingofallequipmentforconveyorbeltoperationincludingbut notlimitedtomaintenancehoists,liftingbeams,trolleysandothers.
