Marine Base ManagerPositionMarine Base Manager Qualification Mechanical Engineer or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Marine Equipment ExperienceMinimum 8 - 10 years, - To source competent and qualified sea staff for all Marine division vessels using the most cost-effective recruitment methods and maintaining an up-to-date database of available candidates - Ensuring compliance with safe manning, flag and industry legislation, and Company QHSE policies - Ensuring compliance with safe manning, flag and industry legislation, and Company QHSE policies - Deep Knowledge of ISM & ISPS requirements and can act as DPA - Liaise with a third-party auditing company for all flag requirements for the entire marine fleet - To streamline manning contracts with various manning agents to ensure quality and prompt delivery of services required - To audit and monitor the working of Manning agencies to ensure their compliance in meeting company and legislative requirements - To develop and maintain good working relations with flag state, port state, and other agencies to have prompt processing of papers - To ensure that Performance Appraisals for all offshore staff are carried out in conjunction with relevant master and ensure records maintained for future references - To handle all disciplinary and grievance matters for crew, including redundancy or dismissal, ensuring that employment legislation is implemented - To maintain up to date personnel records and data for crew - To formulate and submit Annual Crewing Budget, and subsequently monitor the same, providing variance analysis reports where necessary - To ensure the development and training of personnel within the crewing department and opportunities of promotion to the deserving candidates - Coordinate with shipyards for dry-docking activities, scheduling and follow up required reports for the client - Prepare monthly vessel / fleet activity reports regarding all operations, maintenance activities - Monitor and audit ROB reports of entire fleet - Coordinate agency activities related to documentation for port entry / exit permits, immigration, customs, etc. - Prepare applications for Work Permits with authorities - Monitor and report all maintenance activities, parts / inventory planning, workshop and machine shop repairs, etc. - Prepare and update detailed schedule of all certifications / audits / inspections required for entire fleetPlease send updated CVs on [Confidential Information]
