Job Description

Job Title : Procurement Specialist Key Criteria : Locally available in Qatar At least 8-10 years experience in Energy Sector and Utilities Services CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering Salary range 14K 16K QAR + Other benefits Department : Contracts & Procurement Reports to : Contract & Procurement Director Minimum Qualifications :

  • Preferably a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Procurement in the Energy sector and Utility Services with minimum 8 - 10 years experience.
  • CIPS, ERP, Microsoft Oracle / SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience in engineering-related industries and materials, Energy Sector, and Utilities industries are added advantages.
Job-Description / Technical) :
  • Assist to minimize and mitigate the Companys Purchasing requirements
  • Create and maintain vendor data and update periodically for reporting
  • Vendor management and maintaining the updated log
  • Assist and closely work with the line manager for purchases and procurement. Also, for contracts and relevant department deliverables as when needed
  • Major Responsibility to handle and expedite the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Contracts related to Purchase requests and complete the task as per the requesting department or Line Managers instructions.
  • To prepare and expedite RFQ, RFP, Pos, Contracts, Agreements, etc.
  • Expediting order materials with suppliers/vendors when needed and updated status
  • Strictly adhere to procurement policies and procedures
  • Maintain the confidentiality and the integrity of the entire procurement procedures
  • Prepare the timeline for each task and strictly follow the deliverables
  • Negotiation skills to finalize budgets including value additions
  • e to work independently to complete the given task
