Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation:
  • Identify and qualify potential customers through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and attending industry events or trade shows.
  • Develop and execute a targeted outreach strategy to create opportunities for software sales.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, IT directors, and business executives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the value and benefits of the software solutions.
  • Understand customer pain points and offer customized solutions that meet their needs.
  • Sales Process & Closing:
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and pricing models in alignment with client needs and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, technical support, and customer success) to ensure a smooth sales handoff and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Market & Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product features to position our software solutions effectively in the marketplace.
  • Continuously learn about new software features and updates to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
  • Sales Reporting & Analytics:
  • Track and report on sales performance, activities, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular updates to sales management on progress, challenges, and market feedback.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging, content, and campaigns with sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the customer success and technical teams to ensure successful onboarding and customer satisfaction post-sale.
