POSITION SUMMARYAcademic CoordinatorAALIM is currently seeking qualified individuals to serve as an English and Arabic-speaking Academic Coordinator. They will work on a variety of Arabic language programs ranging from six to eight weeks in length and academic year programs with instruction year-round. This position will be based in Meknes, Morocco and is open to Moroccan and non-Moroccan residents of Morocco. The deadline to apply isMarch 25.AALIM?s programs are designed for undergraduate and graduate students. All programs are focused on the acquisition of Arabic language and culture in an immersive setting. Programs are held in Meknes, Morocco. If non-Moroccan applicants have previous experience in Morocco, they should provide a description of that experience, including familiarity with Moroccan dialect and the length of time spent in any specific location in their cover letter. Moroccan applicants should detail their experience working with non-native speakers of Arabic, with foreigners, or any travel or study abroad. All applicants should additionally provide details in their cover letter of any relevant volunteer work, teaching experience, translation work, research, administrative capacities, or any other activities that might bear on the applicant?s work at AALIM.The Academic Coordinator will represent AALIM to students and partner institutions on programs overseas. The Coordinator will work with closely with the Academic Director, teaching staff, and program staff to support all aspects of academics, including but not limited to: curriculum development, teacher training and management, academic calendar development, and academic reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.All offers are contingent upon the applicant?s ability to receive and maintain a visa to the host country.
