The organization offers opportunities to develop technical skills and grow within the signage and visual branding industry.Role Description The Vinyl Applicator & Signage Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The role involves preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting vinyl materials, and applying vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates, including vehicles, windows, walls, and signboards. Day-to-day tasks include reading design layouts, operating cutting and application tools, assembling and installing indoor and outdoor signage, and ensuring all installations meet quality and safety standards. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, organizing materials, and assisting with printing, lamination, and finishing processes as needed. Collaboration with designers, project coordinators, and other technicians is expected to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in line with client requirements.QualificationsSkillsStrong practical skills in vinyl cutting, trimming, and application on different surfaces, with careful attention to alignment, finishing, and durability.Experience in signage fabrication and installation, including assembling sign structures, mounting signage, and working safely with hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret design files, measurements, and layout guidelines, and to follow technical instructions precisely.Good visual accuracy and manual dexterity, with the ability to handle detailed work, maintain clean edges, and avoid bubbles or creases in vinyl.Basic understanding of printing, lamination, and finishing processes commonly used in signage and branding production.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with designers, project managers, and clients on-site.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, including standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and installing materials.Previous experience in signage, vinyl application, or a related field is preferred; vocational training or certification in graphics, signage, or related technical disciplines is an advantage.
