Read and interpret construction drawings, bar bending schedules, and specifications.

Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars using hand tools, machines, or manual methods.

Fix and tie reinforcement steel accurately using binding wire, clips, or other approved methods.

Position and secure steel bars, mesh, and cages in concrete forms for foundations, slabs, beams, columns, walls, and precast elements.

Ensure correct spacing, cover, alignment, and lap lengths as per drawings and engineering standards.

Assist foreman and engineers during inspections by consultants or clients.

Maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.

Follow all site safety procedures, including the use of PPE at all times.

Report material shortages, damaged bars, or discrepancies in drawings to the supervisor.

Coordinate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.

Perform tasks efficiently to meet daily and project-level targets.
