Furless Group (Furless Permanent | Furless Beauty Institute | The Trading Corner)Reports to: Group Financial Controller Department: Finance Location: Hybrid role - UAE based (with support across KSA & other markets)Role PurposeThe Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple entities within Furless Group, while also driving financial reporting, analysis, and performance insights.This role goes beyond traditional accounting and requires a strong commercial mindset, supporting leadership with accurate financial data, forecasting, and strategic insights to enable informed decision-making.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & BookkeepingManage full-cycle accounting across all entities (UAE, KSA, and future markets)Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in Xero and Zoho BooksMaintain general ledger, journals, accruals, and reconciliationsOversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processesMonitor cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds2. Financial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsConsolidate financials across multiple entitiesProduce P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statementsProvide variance analysis vs. budget and prior periodsEnsure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with management expectations3. FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)Support budgeting and forecasting processes across all branchesDevelop financial models and forecasts (monthly / quarterly / annual)Track performance against targets (sales, costs, margins, KPIs)Analyze marketing spend, operational costs, and profitability by branchProvide actionable insights to improve financial performance4. Compliance & RegulatoryEnsure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and KSA ZATCA requirementsPrepare and submit VAT filings and tax documentationSupport audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditorsMaintain proper documentation and audit trailsEnsure adherence to internal financial policies and controls5. Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementMonitor daily cash positions across all entitiesPrepare cash flow forecasts (weekly & monthly)Optimize payment schedules and manage supplier termsSupport cost control and cash preservation initiatives6. Internal Controls & Process ImprovementDevelop and enforce financial controls and SOPsIdentify inefficiencies and implement process improvementsEnsure proper approval workflows for expenses and paymentsSupport system optimization (Xero, reporting tools, dashboards)7. Business PartneringWork closely with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Leadership teamsSupport branch managers with financial insights and performance trackingProvide guidance on budgeting, cost control, and profitabilityAct as a key finance partner in business decision-making8.
