Job Description

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSales & Order ManagementConduct Daily market visits as per the assigned route plan.Take accurate sales orders using handheld systems or approved sales tools.Achieve monthly sales targets (volume, value, and product mix).Promote new products, schemes, promotions, and trade deals to customers.Ensure proper product assortment and coverage across all assigned outlets.Cash Collection & Credit ControlCollect outstanding payments from customers as per agreed credit terms.Ensure timely submission of collected cash and cheques to the Accounts Department.Monitor customer credit limits and coordinate approvals when required.Maintain proper documentation and compliance with company financial policies.Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.Provide high service levels through regular follow-ups and proactive communication.Utilize relationships to improve sales growth, product penetration, and promotional execution.Address customer queries, concerns, and feedback promptly.Market Coverage & ExpansionEnsure full coverage of assigned outlets within the territory.Identify new business opportunities such as new outlet openings and new category placements.Expand distribution by onboarding new customers and increasing product range within existing accounts.Maintain strong geographical knowledge of the assigned market.In-Store Inventory & Stock ManagementMonitor stock levels at customer outlets and recommend replenishment to avoid stock-outs.Ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices are followed to minimize expiry and damages.Check product condition and report near-expiry or damaged goods.Ensure planograms and brand guidelines are properly implemented during each visit.Maintain appropriate share of shelf and ensure promotional materials are placed in approved locations.Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with van sales, warehouse, merchandising, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and service delivery.Provide market intelligence and competitor activity updates to the Line Manager.Submit accurate and timely daily sales reports and system updates.Share product performance feedback, especially on new launches.Process Compliance & Continuous ImprovementAdhere to company sales processes, route plans, and operational policies.Maintain accurate customer records in the system.Continuously improve call effectiveness to enhance service levels, market share, and collection efficiency.Desired Candidate ProfileHigh School or Diploma preferredExcellent Communication, Negotiation , Planning & Execution SkillsMinimum of 3 - 6 years of Sales experience in UAE in FMCG Sector ( Food/Non Food product) specially in GT channel.Good Interpersonal / Presentation & Analytical SkillsUAE Driving License is MandatoryGood Geographical and outlet location knowledge of the market
