Roles & ResponsibilitiesDetail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor, to manage project costs, procurement activities, and contract-related matters for construction and fit-out projects. The role will be responsible for accurate quantity surveying, cost estimation, procurement of materials and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project contracts and budgets. The ideal candidate will support project teams by maintaining cost control, managing procurement processes, and ensuring commercial and contractual requirements are properly handled throughout the project lifecycle.Quantity SurveyingPrepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.Analyze project drawings to identify material quantities, labor requirements, and cost implications.Monitor and control project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work and prepare cost analysis.Assist in preparing payment applications, valuations, and final accounts.Prepare comparison sheets for subcontractor quotations and supplier proposals.Contract AdministrationPrepare and review contracts, subcontract agreements, and commercial terms.Ensure procurement and subcontracting activities are aligned with contract requirements and projectscope.Assist in managing contractual correspondence, variations, claims, and disputes.Monitor subcontractor performance in line with contract obligations.ProcurementManage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.Review quotations and conduct commercial bid analysis.Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors.Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.Maintain procurement records and track purchase orders and delivery schedules.Reporting & CoordinationMaintain proper documentation for quantities, procurement records, and contracts.Prepare cost reports, procurement status reports, and budget tracking reports.Coordinate with project managers, site teams, finance, and suppliers to ensure smooth projectexecution.Support project teams in commercial planning and cost control strategies.Desired Candidate ProfileMinimum 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement with fit-out projects in Dubai (client side)Proven experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost controlExperience managing procurement processes and subcontractor coordinationFamiliarity with contract administration, variation management, and claimsBachelor?s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management fromapproved UniversityStrong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and BOQ preparationExcellent understanding of construction procurement processes and contract administrationAbility to review and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD and OutlookStrong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skillsGood communication and coordination abilities
