Roles & ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring for a Quantity Surveyor for a contracting company in Dubai.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in quantity surveying, cost control, project invoicing, variations, claims management, and commercial project monitoring with good knowledge of the UAE/GCC construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPost-Contract & Quantity SurveyingPrepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates.Analyze drawings and contract documents for project requirements.Monitor project costs and maintain cost reports.Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders.Prepare contractual claims, extensions of time (EOT), and supporting documentation.Verify subcontractor measurements, valuations, and payment certificates.Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Track project expenditures against approved budgets.Coordinate with site team and procurement team regarding commercial matters.Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and claims.Prepare commercial reports and cost analyses.Support management with project profitability assessments and forecasting.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.4?5 years of GCC experience, preferably within the UAE construction /contracting industry.Hands-on experience in post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management.Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contracts.
