Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop sales of petrochemicals, polymers and industrial chemicals across European markets.Identify and approach European importers, distributors, manufacturers, converters and industrial end users.Build and maintain a strong international customer pipeline and convert inquiries into confirmed business.Source petrochemical and chemical products from manufacturers and suppliers in China, South Korea, Thailand, Russia/CIS and other international markets.Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding prices, specifications, payment terms, availability, production schedules and delivery periods.Verify supplier credentials, manufacturing capabilities and whether the company is a genuine producer, authorised distributor or trader.Obtain and review quotations, product specifications, TDS, SDS, COA, certificates and packaging information.Calculate landed costs, including product price, freight, customs duties, insurance and other trading expenses.Prepare and follow up on commercial offers, purchase orders, proforma invoices, contracts and payment schedules.Coordinate commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading and other shipping documentation.Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines, inspection companies and customs-clearance agents.Monitor market prices, competitor activity, customer demand and new product opportunities across Europe and international sourcing markets.Ensure that transactions comply with applicable product regulations, customs requirements, sanctions and international trade restrictions.Maintain accurate customer, supplier, product, quotation and transaction records.Represent Crest Energy at international exhibitions, supplier meetings and customer visits when required.Desired Candidate ProfileMinimum 3?5 years of experience in international petrochemical, polymer, chemical or industrial raw-material trading.Demonstrated experience in international B2B sales, sourcing, business development or import/export.Existing relationships with European chemical importers, distributors, converters or industrial buyers would be a strong advantage.Experience sourcing products from China, South Korea, Thailand, Russia/CIS or other international markets.Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.Mandarin, Korean, Russian or Thai language ability would be a strong advantage.Good understanding of the European chemical market and familiarity with European product and regulatory documentation, including REACH-related requirements, is preferred.Strong knowledge of Incoterms such as FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, FCA and DDP.Familiarity with TDS, SDS, COA, proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and bills of lading.Ability to evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial terms and calculate complete landed costs.Strong communication, negotiation, organisation and follow-up skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, CRM systems, email and international market research.Bachelor?s degree in business, international trade, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field is preferred.Currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings, supplier visits and industry exhibitions.This is an international B2B trading and business-development role, not a retail sales position.
