MEP Estimation Engineer

Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for the MEP projects, including equipment cost, Installation material and labour.

Utilize advanced estimating software and tools to accurately calculate costs, quantities and prepare BOQs.

Identify and quantify project risks, Raise RFIs to clarify the missing information?s to ensure accurate cost estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information.

Prepare and present cost estimates to management for final approval.

Participate in bid meetings and negotiations.

The candidate should be able to prepare the detailed presentation of the MEP system, for making it more clear to the Client.

Review and analyse subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget.

Maintain accurate records of project estimates, including documentation of assumptions and methodologies used.

Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to MEP estimation.

Proper Follow-ups need to be made for submitted proposals.

The candidate should have the capability to acquire new clients in order to enhance business prospects.
