To provide strategic financial leadership, controls, and governance frameworks that support the achievement of the group?s vision and business objectives. Serving as a strategic business partner to the Executive Board, the person directs the group?s overall financial strategy, capital allocation, risk management, and financial performance across a diverse portfolio of businesses (including FMCG, agriculture, automotive, and industrial engineering) to ensure sustainable growth and long-term value creation.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Strategy & Operational Management: Contribute to corporate strategy and lead the development of the group's financial strategy. Oversee daily finance operations across all business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Financial Performance & Reporting: Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring. Provide actionable insights to the C-suite on strategy implementation and business plan KPIs. Treasury & Capital Structure: Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, and negotiations with financial institutions to secure low-cost funding. Define an optimum capital structure to minimize the cost of capital. Financial Control & Governance: Maintain the general ledger and oversee compliance with local regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Develop and enforce internal financial controls to safeguard organizational assets. People Leadership: Lead, recruit, and develop the finance team through effective performance management and succession planning. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal/external auditors, banks, and management levels across the group to resolve complex financial issues. Role RequirementsEducational & Professional Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional Certifications: Active CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA designation is required. Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic is a must. Experience Minimum of 12 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role. Proven expertise in macroeconomics, currency risk mitigation, cross-functional leadership, and multi-sector financial modeling. SkillsTechnical Skills & Competencies Job Specific Skills: Strategic thinking, corporate governance, commercial acumen, risk management, and negotiation skills. Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP regulations. Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced financial tools (Excel).
