Roles & ResponsibilitiesSpeed Rays Technical Services LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join us. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in UAE accounting practices, VAT, and Corporate Tax, with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience, preferably in the construction industry.Key responsibilities:Bookkeeping.Bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.Monitor and control company expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.Track expenses and revenues, client payments and outstanding balances.Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA regulations.Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax, ensure compliance with local tax regulations.Maintain accounting records in accordance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT requirements.Assist in payroll processing and WPS-related accounting, where applicable.Desired Candidate ProfileProven experience as an Accountant, preferably in construction subcontracting, such as tile work, plaster, interior fit-out, construction, or a related industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as an Accountant.Bachelor's Degree in Commerce.Knowledge of UAE labour-related financial calculations such as gratuity, leave salary, and payroll is an advantage.
