Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVE Vulnerability Management are responsible for the development and delivery of our Managed Services offerings They Apply necessary technical breadth to providing top level technical support services and operational leadership, including problem resolution, and technical change implementation for Managed Services clients. This is a challenging position, which calls for excellent customer service skills, the ability to articulate solutions clearly to the end-users. The engineer must possess a high degree of technical knowledge across a broad range of Microsoft technologies and products including Hosting, Network and Cloud technologies KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
• Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
• Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
• Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
• Understand the low level designs, system diagrams, systems installation configuration & guides, support procedures, test plans and runbook
• Management of Server Hardware (Chassis, Blades and rack Servers) with Hypervisors and Linux/Unix OS
• Manage virtual environments including Nutanix and VxRail HCI environments
• Work closely with application support & security teams to implement up-to-date patch levels and application specific feature configuration
• Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause-analysis
• Plan and execute the Operation Readiness process for Infrastructure projects for transition into production support
• Act as liaison with various departments across campus.
• Support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Configure, implement, and maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Support infrastructure deployment models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid.
• Maintaining a general level of expertise in Code Green, Proofpoint, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, and other Windows-based technologies.
• Ability to configure VMs and Web Applications through Azure Web Portal and Command Line Interface through PowerShell
• Participating in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
• Document and follow processes and procedures for the Windows infrastructure and systems.
• Collaborating with the team on future direction and opportunities for new technology.

Build Knowledge Repositories

• Ensure new knowledge is captured and shared
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Linux Admins
• Share knowledge and enter data into knowledge repositories and build/harvest/leverage/re-use knowledge.

Project Management

• Identify project tasks/activities and develop project schedules.
• Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders
• Effectively communicate project objectives and goals
• Complete project activities on time, within budget and within scope

Implementation of Products/Solutions With Clients

• Create accurate operating procedures , support instructions, and operational/system documentation
• Solicit feedback from client on quality of product/solution

Increase Client Satisfaction

• Solve problems quickly, effectively communicate solutions and associated risks
• Manage expectations and meet deadlines

Maintain recoverability as per target

• Maintain utilization rates as per target
• Ensure that Injazat Operation Readiness Process for Infrastructure projects is planned and executed to transition projects into support. OR activities are within the baseline project schedule and OR is accepted into operations constrained within the scope of the project.
• Develop Low Level Designs and Implement Systems following Injazat Standard Builds and Security compliances.
• Obtain positive project references from clients. (e.g) Emails from Client, Reference letters signed from clients and Case studies completed with clients
• Support establishment of new solutions and services.
• Gain skills and experience to implement emerging technologies, gain new certifications and support partnership requirements.

Budgets and Plans

• Assist in preparing & presenting the functions budget and monitor financial performance of the department to provide management with visibility of forecast cost and revenues, areas of underperformance and opportunities to improve.

• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement

• Motivate the team and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practices and enhance productivity & profitability.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of accounting processes and practices, keeping an eye on international best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers
• Coordinate with the Manager to implement improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of General Services activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIESMinimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Certification
  • MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect) or MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure)
  • Microsoft MCSA in Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016
  • Microsoft MCSA in Office 365 and SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
  • ITIL foundation certification

Minimum Experience:

• Strong experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365,
• Strong experience in hybrid on-premises to Cloud, private and multi-cloud implementations and workload migration

• Previous experience in a help desk support and troubleshooting role.
• Previous experience supporting virtual servers and solving network issues.
• Previous experience in a 24x 7 managed services, hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment a plus.
• Previous System administration and support experience (Windows operating systems experience with mixed environments a plus).
• Previous experience with Kubernetes and experience with networking subnetting, routing and firewalls.
• Previous experience with Azure based deployments or other cloud platforms a plus.
• Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Cloud Services such as Azure, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Exchange Online, Intune, One Drive, Sharepoint, and Teams
• Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and managing Windows Server2012 - 2019 and Active Directory environments

Job-Specific Skills:

• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, VMWare)
• Expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365,
• Strong understanding of Internet protocols, LAN/WAN networking, Micro segmentation, firewalls, WAF and load-balancers
• Understanding of working on any virtualization environment
• Understanding of high availability configurations, DR, and backup solutions for Cloud services
• Understanding of monitoring and alerting within multi-cloud environments
• Solve problems quickly, effectively communicate solutions and associated risks
• Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical background
• Recommend appropriate technology for tool selection
• Solid working experience as a Linux Administrator for (x) year(s)of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
• Hands on experience with MSSQL and/or other Databases
• Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
• Knowledge in Powershell
• Solid Networking knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
