Job Description

We are looking for a VAT Specialist to prepare VAT payments and returns for our company Magnati.The responsibilities of the VAT specialist will be as following, this is not a comprehensive list.

  • Preparation of regular VAT returns
  • Estimating and tracking of VAT returns
  • Completing regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) VAT reports
  • Prepare VAT payments
  • Organize and update the companys VAT database
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for VAT payments and returns
  • Share financial data with the accounting department
  • Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Liaising with the Federal Tax Authority
  • Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a VAT Accountant or VAT Analyst
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Familiarity with accounting software packages
  • Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant subject industry certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) is preferred
