Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• Security Architecture Design:
• Develop and implement security architecture frameworks that align with business goals and objectives.
• Design security solutions for various systems and applications, ensuring they meet the highest security standards.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the organizations security posture.
• Risk Management:
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and plans.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of security controls and address any identified weaknesses.
• Security Policies and Procedures:
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
• Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security policies.
• Incident Response and Management:
• Lead the development and maintenance of incident response plans and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage the response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into all technology projects.
• Provide security guidance and expertise to stakeholders and project teams.
• Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
• Lead security awareness and training programs for employees.
• Continuously evaluate and improve security architectures and processes.

• Technical Expertise:
• Extensive experience with security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption.
• Strong knowledge of network security, application security, cloud security, and identity and access management (IAM).
• Proficiency in security architecture methodologies and frameworks.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Leadership and Project Management:
• Proven ability to lead security architecture projects from inception to completion.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior security team members.

• Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or SABSA.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in security architecture or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
