Job Title :ARC WelderExperience : 1 - 5 YearsLocation : UAE ARC Welder Position Overview:As an ARC Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding operations using the ARC (Shielded Metal Arc Welding or Stick Welding) process. Your primary role will involve joining metal components together using an electric arc to melt the base metal and the welding electrode. This position requires a strong understanding of welding principles, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and proficiency in operating ARC welding equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Operations: Perform ARC welding to join metal parts and components according to specifications and technical drawings. Ensure the accuracy, strength, and quality of each weld while adhering to established welding procedures.
• Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and shaping metal surfaces. Remove any contaminants, such as rust or dirt, that may affect the welding process and final weld quality.
• Welding Equipment Setup: Set up and calibrate ARC welding equipment, including power sources, electrode holders, and related accessories. Select and install appropriate electrodes based on the metal type and welding requirements. Adjust welding parameters, such as current and arc length, to achieve desired weld characteristics.
• Inspection and Quality Control: Inspect welds visually and using appropriate measuring tools to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Identify and rectify any defects, discontinuities, or inconsistencies in the welding process.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Follow established procedures for handling and storing hazardous materials, such as welding electrodes and fluxes. Comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues. Report any major malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and material usage. Provide regular progress updates and reports to supervisors or project managers as required.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, such as fabricators, engineers, and quality control personnel, to achieve project objectives. Communicate effectively to understand welding requirements and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or formal training in ARC welding techniques.
• Proven experience as an ARC Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of welding principles, techniques, and equipment operation.
• Ability to select and set up appropriate welding processes, electrodes, and current levels.
• Familiarity with different metals and their welding characteristics.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a welding environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
