We are looking Welder cum FabricatorPurpose Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirementsKey Responsibility Areas? Responsible and accountable for determining required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of geometry, and welding techniques.? Responsible and accountable for layout, positions, and securing parts and assemblies according to specifications/requirements, using straight edge, combination square, calipers, and measuring tapes.? Responsible and accountable for tack-weld or welds components and assemblies, using MIG, TIG, ARC with mixture of gases and inspecting spark back arrestor or other welding equipment.? Cuts work piece, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knife.? Melts lead wire, or scrap to add lead to joint or to extrude melted scrap into reusable form.? Observes tests on welding rod, welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications? Removes rough spots from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.? Welds components in flat, vertical, horizontal or overhead positions.? Heats, forms, and dresses metal parts, using hand tools, torch, or arc welding equipment.? Ignites torch and adjusts valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.? Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.? Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.? Calculate dimensions to be welded? Inspect structures or materials to be welded? Ignite torches or start power supplies? Responsible and accountable for monitoring the welding process to avoid overheating? Responsible and accountable for maintaining equipment and machinery and obtaining fitness certificates Key Performance Indicators? Number of jobs done per day? Quantity of material used per day? Number of delays in fabrication ? Number of delays in diagnosing the problem
