OverviewGadlang is looking for an experienced and avid VAT Consultant with 3 to 5 years of working experience in UAE comprising of UAE VAT implementation, advisory and return filing, accounts and audit experience from a renowned public practicing firm.?An Ideal candidate would be:CA/ACCA Qualified with previous tax related experience from a firm (in addition to the UAE Experience mentioned above) VAT Compliance Diploma holder Having excellent reporting, communication and presentation skills Proficient in English and would know basic Arabic (not mandatory)Roles & Responsibilities:At least 6 ? 8 years of VAT experience working in professional firms Preparation of VAT returns for UAE top-tier organizations and SMEs after review and adjustments Reviewing legal contracts to assess VAT impact and recommend necessary changes Conducting VAT impact assessment and preparation of VAT implementation reports Managing VAT audits, gathering relevant information, analyzing and finding errors Monitoring and implementing VAT legislation, updating clients with relevant changes Training clients and firms? staff on VAT Reviewing VAT returns prepared by associates Preparation of VAT department?s budget Identification of operational issues and recommending new policies to smooth firm?s VAT operations Preparation of VAT proposals and coordinate with clients and other related parties Posting VAT related articles through different channels Ensuring timely recoveries from clients Ad-hoc assignments given by senior managements
