We are looking for Senior Environment EngineerEssential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities) Implementing Standards: ? Oversee, develop, implement, maintain, and update company management systems as per ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, EHS MS and legal requirements for Emirates Steel. ? Identify applicable QEHS laws and regulations and monitor company compliance in cooperation with QA Manager ? Supervise, develop and implement plans and programs to achieve QA department objectives ? Participate in developing and implementing quality, environment, health, and safety training and awareness program Addressing EHS Quality Concerns: ? Communicate and supervise EHS matters with process owners, legal authorities, and other interested parties in cooperation with QA Manager Job Profile Job Description ? Conduct environmental impact assessment and risk assessments for new activities and projects for Emirates Steel ? Reviews and updates environmental aspect and risk assessment for existing plant and operations to deliver Audit and Control: ? Develop and coordinate the implementation of Environment measurements and monitoring plan ? Monitor, evaluate, and supervise implementation of controls for hazards and environmental aspects ? Monitor and evaluate Environment monitoring data and performance indicators for ESI ? Prepare Environment reports, studies, and regulatory submissions in cooperation with QA Manager ? Provide Environment information and technical support to operations ? Identify opportunities for improving incident/accident prevention, risk management, and over all Environment Performance and driving those changes with QA Manager and process owners
