The roleSenior BIM ManagerYour responsibilities will include:? Understanding and developing the Mace and/or client BIM strategy and implementing it with consultants.? Working with Mace and the client to produce and write the project information management strategy.? Working with the client to produce and write the Employers Information Requirement EIR.? Writing and reviewing BIM execution plans.? Guiding the governance of BIM implementation on all project levels.? Developing knowledge and understanding of building information modelling (BIM) principles across the programme/project lifecycle.? Developing and implementing BIM workflow and communicates the benefits of it within the project and client teams.? Creating a strategic plan to implement the adequate use of technology in the design process and implement lean practices to minimise abortive work in multiple design platforms.? Directing development of software templates and rule sets in line with client requirements.? Conducting quality checks on models provided by consultants, including verification.? Providing support to project delivery teams by managing the resolution of BIM related issues and tasks.? Chairing BIM facilitated meetings with the project director.? Supporting development of using BIM in construction sequencing, costing and operations where required.? Working with design consultants and contractors to manage the BIM implementation approach on a project level.? Establishing a process for collecting, evaluating, and developing parametric Revit content specific to each design practice area.? Evaluating and assemble a team and mentor them to become BIM/Revit/ information management leaders.? Developing and strengthening relationships with office and project leaders by improving communication and transparency and involvement at project start up.? Support the Mace Innovations work streams in implementing innovative ways of working in the MENA business.? Monitoring and guiding the model advancement and utilisation process through construction. Review the contractor s BIM model and as-built model are in compliance with the EIR and BEP.? Assisting with integrating into the commissioning process.
